The Democratic Party has traditionally been a place where Black or African Americans have felt most comfortable. The reason why so many Blacks vote as Democrats is due in large part to the vital role of the Democratic Party during the Civil Rights
Movements of the 60's.
But today, in the 21st century, the Democratic Party does not seem to fully support the positive enrichment of the lives of African Americans. In fact, some might believe that the Democratic party has USED
the Black Vote to gain its advantages.
2004 will prove to be an interesting year. Do you believe that Blacks support Al Sharpton's candidacy? Do you think that he has a good shot at the title of President of the United States?
